THE OBSERVATION

John Smieszek has been building luxury pools in Scottsdale for over twenty years. APSP Gold Awards. Pinnacle Awards. A World's Greatest Pool Award. Features in AQUA Magazine. Infinity edge pools and all glass tile watershapes that belong in architectural journals. The original website was a WordPress build from 2008 with a Slider Revolution plugin that hadn't been updated in years. The awards were buried. The photography was compressed. The craftsmanship was invisible. We saw it. We fixed it.

THE THINKING

A boutique luxury pool builder with this level of craft and this many awards deserved a digital presence that matched what he builds. Every pool John Smieszek makes is one of one — the site needed to say that before anything else. A full-screen hero with a logo that pulses like a water ripple on load. Five dedicated project pages each with their own photography, build specs, and award credits. A horizontal scrolling portfolio carousel. An accordion services section that shows the full depth of what Liquid Evolution does — design, engineering, construction, fire features, automation, outdoor living. A Google reviews section anchored by a 5.0 rating. A service area map covering 28 cities across the Phoenix Valley. This is not a prettier version of an old WordPress site. This is the presence a craftsman of this caliber has always deserved.

Logo Ripple Animation

The Liquid Evolution logo fades in on load and pulses with a continuous subtle scale effect mimicking water. Runs on loop. Sets the tone immediately.

Five Dedicated Project Pages

Arcadia One, Quartz Valley 7, GR8 sPool, Black Pearl, Echo Canyon Pool — each with full photo gallery, design and build team credits, project narrative, technical specs, and award mentions.

Horizontal Portfolio Carousel

Scrolling project cards with cover image, project name, and team credits. Previous and next navigation. Links to each dedicated project page.

Accordion Services Section

Two groups — Services and Specialties. Expandable panels covering Design, Engineering, and Construction services plus Pools & Spas, Fire Features, Water Features, Luxury Amenities, and Automation.

What you're looking at is not a redesign. It's a reinvention. John Smieszek builds pools that win national awards and get featured in architectural publications. The original site buried all of it behind an outdated WordPress template. We rebuilt everything — five dedicated project pages, a full services accordion, a ripple-pulse logo animation, and a portfolio carousel that finally shows what Liquid Evolution Pools is capable of. This is what Curas does. We don't make prettier versions of old websites. We make the presence a craftsman deserves.
